Our people, the Blackfeet and their forebearers, roamed the windswept lands of the north back through mists of time. Many generations ago our ancestors migrated here from far away Algonquian cultures. By any measure the land was endless. Glacial streams cascaded off jagged granite peaks and tumbled out onto the distant plains. The prairies teemed with wildlife and the Pikuni Blackfeet ruled the land.

Chief Mountain Outfitters extend our best wishes and an invitation to join us soon in Blackfeet Country. Our Fitzgerald family ancestral heritage descends from a timeless Blackfeet hunting culture. Who should wonder that we would gravitate to outfitting and big game hunting? The Blackfeet Nation Fish & Wildlife Department directs recreation activities and resource conservation. We have been entrusted and licensed by the Tribe to offer outfitting services. We view this as an honor and a privilege.
